WASHINGTON, June 28, 2017 - The Department of Energy (DOE) has selected 32 small businesses to receive $1 million each to advance concepts that improve manufacturing processes, boost efficiency of buildings, increase transportation sustainability, and generate electricity from renewable sources. The funds were provided through DOE’s Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer programs.
