In this opinion piece, Mark Eisele, Wyoming rancher and President of the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, cautions against efforts to expand the Packers and Stockyards Act. and what he describes as harmful impacts on farmers and ranchers.
The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA), Public Lands Council (PLC), and Washington Cattlemen’s Association (WCA), along with several prominent national agricultural organizations, submitted comments in opposition to the Biden administration's proposal to reintroduce grizzly bears to the North Cascades Ecosystem (NCE) in Washington state.
