Concerns regarding global food security are greater than ever. Access to agricultural technologies–including crop protection products–is critical to increase productivity as we strive to sustainably feed our growing world population. Disparate crop protection standards not only disrupt trade but exacerbate food insecurity and restrict farmers’ ability to grow and export safe, high-quality food. Panelists will address the critical need for global regulators to rely on science-based standards to harmonize regulations, including MRLs, so together we can enable free trade and help meet the world’s food needs.
