The United States is consulting again with Canada over complaints that the country is manipulating its dairy import quotas and restricting access to its market, but U.S. senators are now demanding the Biden administration take the next step of calling for a second dispute panel under the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement.

Higher margins in its ag services and oilseeds business helped push ADM to an operating profit of about $6.5 billion for its fiscal year 2022, an increase of 41% over 2021.

The Senate Agriculture Committee has scheduled four hearings on farm bill issues, starting with a review of the trade and horticulture titles next Wednesday.
