The latest White House meeting on U.S. biofuel policy resulted in an agreement in principle to sell E15 year-round and impose no caps on the price of Renewable Identification Numbers (RINs). However, a proposal long thought to be dead was brought back to life on Tuesday.

WASHINGTON, Oct. 25, 2017 - Just a day after EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt sent a letter aimed at silencing strong concerns voiced by Midwestern U.S. senators and governors about implementation of the Renewable Fuel Standard, a northeastern governor weighed in on behalf of refineries, asking for a waiver. 

As EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt considers rulemaking for the Renewable Fuel Standard in 2018, the Renewable Fuels Association asks that he stay on track and consider congressional intent, allowing the industry to plan and implement appropriate strategies.

SAN DIEGO, Feb. 21, 2017 – With farm incomes on the decline and corn stocks at a 30-year high, there is a “sense of unease spreading across rural America,” noted Renewable Fuels Association President and CEO Bob Dinneen during his keynote address today.
