The ongoing debate over climate change is complicating the search for solutions over how to prevent massive wildfires that continue to ravage many rural areas across the west.
The Senate Agriculture Committee yesterday unanimously approved the nomination of Jim Hubbard to be Undersecretary of Agriculture for Natural Resources and the Environment.
Jim Hubbard is a step closer to a possible job as USDA undersecretary for natural resources and the environment after being grilled yesterday by members of the Senate Agriculture Committee about his nomination.
Sources say Kenneth Isley is about to be named the new chief of USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service. Isley is currently an adviser with DowDuPont’s Agriculture Division based in Indianapolis.
