Jeff Rowe, now the president of Syngenta Crop Protection, will become CEO of the Syngenta Group on Jan. 1, one of several leadership changes announced by the seed and agrochemical giant.
One of the world's largest agribusinesses, Syngenta Group, said products that enable farmers to grow food more sustainably helped lead the company to record sales in the first half of 2021, with business volume up 24% compared to the same period in 2020.
The dairy industry is teaming up with a major agribusiness and an environmental group to “develop a replicable program and toolset to scale the adoption of best management practices in feed/forage production and feed efficiency.”
Syngenta Group announced the acquisition of Valagro, a leading biologics company - giving the firm a key leadership position in a market which is set to nearly double in size over the next five years.
