Despite overwhelming evidence that poor diets contribute to preventable illness and many leading causes of death;– including heart disease, cancer and Type 2 diabetes – doctors and other health professionals get little training in nutrition in medical school and other education.
The University of California, Davis announced the institution surpassed $1 billion in external researching funds for the 2021-22 fiscal year. The accomplishment topped the University’s record from last year, by $102.9 million dollars
