a few weeks ago, the Senate passed the "Agricultural Reform, Food and Jobs" bill in bi-partisan fashion to reduce the deficit by $23 billion over ten years
The "Farm Bill" uncertainty is now being trumped by the much larger uncertainty if our economy falls off the "fiscal cliff" that everyone is talking about
In a nutshell, with the failure of Congress to pass a farm bill prior to the August recess, it appears that it is the Congressional leadership that has failed Agriculture.
