- Buyers from China agreed to buy $5.3 billion worth of U.S. soy, totaling more than 484 million bushels of U.S. soybeans, during a signing ceremony today hosted by the U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC).
Ethanol made from algae will be commercially marketed and distributed for the first time in the U.S., thanks to a new, patented technology that uses algae to produce the four most widely used fuels: ethanol, gasoline, jet and diesel fuel.
