WASHINGTON, June 27, 2017 - Members of the Iowa Renewable Fuels Association (IRFA) and Iowa Biodiesel Board (IBB) united to speak with their state’s congressional delegation in support of a reformed biodiesel tax incentive. Bills presented in the House and Senate would not only reinstate the tax credit, but close a loophole allowing foreign producers to receive it. IRFA and IBB also asked representatives to uphold the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS). “Both the tax incentive and RFS are examples of successful bipartisan policies that make sense, and we’re grateful to our state’s delegation for their leadership on them,” said IBB Executive Director Grant Kimberly.
