WASHINGTON, March 14, 2016 – Agri-Pulse Communications announces the addition of Bill Tomson to help the company continue to expand its news coverage on Capitol Hill.

Most recently, Tomson covered agriculture and food
issues for Agri-Pulse as a contributing editor. Prior to that, he worked for Politico
and for Dow Jones and its flagship publication, the Wall Street Journal.
He started his journalism career in the 1990s as a
reporter with Knight-Ridder in Sao Paulo, Brazil, covering the country's
dramatic expansion in soybean production. At Agri-Pulse, Tomson will focus on
international trade as well as a variety of food safety and other issues.
A native of Washington, D.C., Tomson earned a
bachelor's degree in journalism from Central Michigan University.
