FDA sends front-of-package nutrition labeling proposal to OMB

The Food and Drug Administration has advanced a long awaited proposed rule on front-of-package nutrition labels, signaling a push by the Biden administration to release the proposal ahead of Inauguration Day on Jan. 20.
