Congressional leaders reach spending deal to avert USDA shutdown

House and Senate leaders announced agreement Wednesday on half of the fiscal 2024 spending bills, including those covering USDA, EPA and the Interior Department.

Moving forward, the question remains which energy sources will see favor from Capitol Hill and what agricultural practices investors will support toward a greener environment and stronger food security.
