A new facility in Bonita, Arizona, will add to the NatureSweet portfolio in Arizona and expand the company’s ability to grow cherry tomatoes and other produce.
The company plans to invest $5 million in the 44-acre facility itself and hire about 250 workers to expand its growing operations. After starting with D’Vines, cherry tomatoes harvested and packaged on the vine to preserve freshness, NatureSweet plans to expand to producing other conventional and organic products in the facility.
