The Center for Land-Based Learning announced it will host a seven-week course created for individuals considering farming.
The California Farm Academy Explorer Program was created as “a decision-making tool” to help its students understand their personal motivations, and agricultural business. The curriculum will have four steps which include assessment of the individual, research of the landscape, assessment of resources, and next steps and decision making.

The Explore Program said its goal is to “help you decide whether starting an agricultural business is right for you” and provide the next steps for beginning farmers. One farm tour and one farm session will also be included in the class and provide in-person insight for students.
The program will take place on Saturday’s this fall from October 1st until September 12th.
