The California Republican delegation is urging the House Natural Resources subcommittee on water to host an oversight hearing on a new operations agreement between state and federal administrations for pumping water through the Sacramento-San Joaquin Bay-Delta.

In a letter to the Democratic chairs, the delegation worried the interim operations plan was rushed because of the drought and sets a dangerous precedent for managing California’s water supply.
