FDA announces plans for testing lettuce samples in Salinas Valley

As part of ongoing efforts to ensure the safety of leafy greens, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced Tuesday that officials will collect and test samples of lettuce grown in California’s Salinas Valley.
