Initiative aimed at making nuclear plants safer

WASHINGTON, Oct. 25, 2017 - The Energy Department (DOE) is allotting up to $20 million for projects aimed at developing innovative technologies that can enable designs for lower cost and safer advanced nuclear reactors.
